Things You Should Know

Rock Beach is a long, sandy beach on the east of the Camel Estuary with extensive sand dunes and no restrictions on dogs, making Rock ideal for a dog-friendly holiday in Cornwall

From dinner at a Rick Stein restaurant to a first-light dog-walk, where your feet and your dog's paws have made the only marks in the sea-swept sand. From the exhilaration of the wind pulling your kite-buggy fast across flat sands to a leisurely round of golf at a beautiful links. There are so many things to do in North Cornwall, appealing to so many tastes, temperaments and ages.

Fishing trips can be arranged hunting for mackerel, bass and even shark. Many people also enjoy rod fishing from the cliffs at the mouth of the estuary and from the beaches during the rising tides.
