Set in a stunning unspoiled location, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, Duddings offers all the ingredients for a memorable holiday in the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Duddings is an ideal base from which to explore the 600 miles of local public footpaths and bridleways.Many picturesque villages and harbours lie within easy reach, and the famous ponies and red deer can be found on the moor. The mediaeval village of Dunster, only 2 miles away, is well worth exploring for its castle, priory, church, tithe barn, dovecote, water mill and the famous Yarn Market.
Our 13 cottages are all centrally heated and fully equipped (including TVs, DVD and video players,washing machines, hairdriers etc). Facilities at Duddings include a hard tennis court, warm indoor heated pool, putting green, games room (pool table, table tennis and table football), trampoline,football net and a children’s play centre (2-storey playhouse, swings, slide, assault course and fireman’s pole). There are eight acres of land to explore, with picnic areas, and a safe river where you may spot a brown trout! This is a marvellous spot for a family holiday in an area which has so much to offer.

Things You Should Know
The Exmoor National Park, created in 1954, contains an amazing variety of landscapes within its 267 square miles. A unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland, shaped by people and nature over thousands of years. Where high cliffs plunge into the Bristol Channel, and cosy pubs and tearooms offer delicious local produce.

Exmoor Zoo- It is not a wildlife park or a city zoo, but a more personal, friendly and contact orientated zoo which has grown into a North Devon Valley.
Cheddar Gorge- Explore Britain's biggest gorge from the dramatic cliffs rising 450 ft to the stunning stalactite caverns.
Minehead Beach - Minehead is where Exmoor meets the sea.
Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway- An authentic Victorian water powered lift. Known as England’s little Switzerland, this attraction is not to be missed- all 862 feet of it! Situated in the centre of Exmoor.
